Monse Guajardo is a Mexican-American freelance photographer based in the U.S and Mexico border city Laredo, TX and currently working in Austin, TX.

Exhibitions include Houston Center for Photography’s 41st Center Annual, Barcelona’s 8th Foto Biennale, “Static Cinema” at CREA Cantieri del Contemporaneo in Venice, Italy and SXSW 2026 showcase by MONAD.

She was selected as a Finalist for LensCulture’s Portrait Award 2024, awarded the 22nd Julia Margaret Cameron Award and Daphne Art Foundation’s Artist in Residency 2025.

Her work has been published in The Guardian, Dazed Magazine and Pitchfork.
